Good dental health may protect against common cold

Using mouthwash assists with good dental care, but may also boost one's immune system, meaning less time warming up soup during cold winter months.

In an article published yesterday expounding on tips for a healthy lifestyle, the website TodaysZaman.com suggested people practice good dental care to avoid serious conditions and illnesses.

Chicago resident Joanna Broussard told the news provider she started using Listerine as part of her regular dental care routine approximately 12 years ago.

"I haven't been ill since then. Everyone around me would get a cold or flu, but I had grown immune," said Broussard.
