Kids Birthday Party Planning Made Easy
Updated: 5/1/2008 12:00:23 PM
(ARA) - Everyone loves kids birthday parties, but between the planning, hosting the event itself and the cleanup, it can be quite a chore. Just ask any parent who has had a dozen or more youngsters with boundless energy running around their house on the big day.

Keeping a group of young kids entertained is not an easy task; and it doesn't take much for the best laid plans to fall apart.

Why not move the party to a place where you know the kids will have a lot of fun, and you won't have to worry about a thing. Scott Lobash of Minneapolis, Minn., recently hosted his son, Jared's, 8th birthday party at his local Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant and says he had a great experience.

"All we had to do was show up and everything was taken care of," says Lobash. "The kids loved the pizza and cake and had a great time playing the games. I really liked that fact that we were in a controlled environment with staff on hand to take care of all our needs. Best of all, no mess for me to clean up after the party."

The typical party starts with the guests being escorted to the birthday boy or girl's table, then game tokens are handed out and the kids go to town, playing games and having fun. Around the time they run out of tokens, they're invited back to the table for pizza, cake and a song and dance with Chuck E. Cheese. Refreshments are on hand throughout the event. Party platters or pizzas are optional for the adults at your party.

Thanks to the Internet, booking a party at Chuck E. Cheese's has never been easier. Simply click here to go directly to the online birthday party reservation page. Select your location, pick a party package, then indicate how many kids you plan to invite and choose a desired date and time of the party. The system will let you know what's available so there's no chance of double booking. And for a limited time, every party booked online will receive 20 free game tokens.

"As a parent you have enough to worry about. Your kid's party shouldn't be another thing you have to stress out over. You want to be able to just enjoy watching him have fun on his birthday, and Chuck E. Cheese's is a great place to do it," says Lobash.
