Once individuals get an online business degree, they will likely reap financial payoffs in a new career. According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers, "business administration and economics/finance graduates saw a 6.2 percent and a 3 percent boost in average pay to $38,254 and $40,630, respectively." In addition, a 2005 survey by Robert Half International found directors of finance earn up to $178,250.
