 (ARA) - Parental involvement is a key factor in a student's academic success. The guidance and support kids receive at home not only helps them in their school work but it reinforces the importance of education. * Review the homework rules and clearly communicate those rules to all students in the family. Take into account that children, depending on age and personality, are different in their approach to homework.
* Make sure each student's homework space is private and away from distractions.
* Reduce morning chaos by getting things (e.g. clothing, permission slips, etc.) organized the night before. * Continue good communication with your student's teachers so you are familiar with how they interact with your student.
