This mixture should be left on for one minute before being rinsed off. The news provider also suggested eating strawberries to whiten teeth.

"The next time you're at the produce aisle, pick up a basket of strawberries. The astringent and vitamin C work together to whiten. Either rub them on your teeth or mash them up - just make sure to brush immediately after," according ABC.

Woman's Day also reports that eating foods that produce more saliva may help teeth get back some of their shine. Some suggestions the news provider offered were pears, celery and carrots.
