Dental savings plans
Our dental savings plans can help you reduce your out-of-pocket dental care costs once you’ve reached the annual maximum on your dental insurance plan, or for when certain procedures are not covered by your insurance.
Dental savings plans are an affordable, membership-based discount plan that can lower the costs of expensive dental procedures like: braces, teeth whitening, implants, veneers, crowns & more. Routine care such as check-ups and cleanings are often discounted too.
If you need more than preventive care, or already have a treatment plan, a dental savings plan can often provide the biggest savings.

Dental insurance
Do you only need preventive care like your cleanings and check-ups? Dental insurance typically covers preventive care at 100%, making it a great option if you don’t need larger dental work.
Some insurance plans allow you to go to dental practices in or out of network, though the out-of-pocket costs are typically higher when you go out of network.
Keep in mind that dental insurance works differently than medical insurance. Most dental insurances will cover expenses until you hit your annual maximum (the most they’ll pay for your dental care in a year) then you’ll be responsible for the rest. We recommend keeping a close eye on your deductibles, annual caps, uncovered procedures, and any waiting periods.

Here’s what dental insurance typically covers.
When you sign up for dental insurance, you pay a monthly premium and possibly a deductible, depending on your plan. Most plans cover preventive care at 100% and a percentage of other dental work until you reach your annual maximum. After that, you’ll pay for the rest out of pocket until your plan resets. Dental insurance usually covers:
Preventive care
Basic care
Major care
If you need more than just basic dental care, dental savings plans may be a better option for you.
