“Most of these folks probably do not have a dental home or the resources to obtain dental care,” said Dr. Claude Earl Fox, the institute's executive director, quoted by the news source.
Reuters estimates that 45 million Americans do not have dental insurance, which is most likely contributing to the rise in the the number of individuals who are waiting to deal with a dental problem until it has gotten out of control.
