With many advances in the field of dental care, some dentists are earning their MBA degrees in order to become more business-savvy.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Dr David Wong recently took his practice to Twitter in order to increase his client base and encourage more people to visit his office.
Now more students in Nevada have the chance to both achieve their dental and business degrees at the same time, meaning that they can begin practicing medicine at a younger age.
The Las Vegas Sun reveals that the University of Southern Nevada School of Dental Medicine offers aspiring dentists the chance to obtain their MBAs while becoming certified in their field.
This means more dentists will be able to run their offices more efficiently and hopefully attract more clients.
"Nothing drives away patients like a chaotic front office," dean C. Lynn Hurs told the news provider, hinting at one of the benefits to business education.
The American Dental Association recommends that adults schedule regular teeth cleanings to ensure they keep teeth and gums healthy on top of brushing and flossing twice each day.
