Flossing can be an awkward business, but dental experts insist that it is a necessary part of any oral health routine.
Now, a new product promises to make the whole process easier. The BrytonPick is a stringless, reusable interdental cleaner with round cleaning edges designed to quickly and easily remove food or plaque.
Although it is reusable, the pick is as thin as standard dental floss. It also offers a more hygienic alternative to some of the other items people use to clean between their teeth, including business cards and pen caps.
As it is made of germ-resistant stainless steel the BrytonPick can be used for up to 30 days and comes with a slim-line carry case for protection
Tom Logar, president of Toothfguard Dental Instruments, states that the new innovation offers a "quick, discreet and hygienic opportunity to clean interdental spaces after every single meal, no matter where - in a theater, in a restaurant, in a car, at the office, school or at home."
This follows the release of new eFly Kids Flossers by Dr Fresh - colorful and easy to hold dental floss aimed a younger market.
