A human resources director at insurance-services provider MIB Group has told a newspaper how he was "impressed" with the "creativity" he found in the dental plans industry.
Speaking to the Boston Business Journal, Kevin Lowe said he was "surprised to discover" that dental plans are becoming increasingly flexible.
He also noted that they are focusing on the important link between oral and general health. "There are innovative programs out there," Lowe informed the paper.
Dental plans are becoming an increasingly popular choice for employers, particular as dental care ranks as one of the main concerns for workers.
Roger Schultz, vice president of employee benefits firm BenefitStream, told the Business Journal that dental coverage is one of the top five benefits requested by employees.
It concluded that "a dental plan is an added incentive for both the hiring and the retention of top-tiered talent".
