Actress Elizabeth Hurley rushes to dentist because of tooth pain

Anyone can suffer dental health problems, even international celebrities.
A couple of days before the Christmas holiday, Elizabeth Hurley, who has appeared in the films "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery" and "Bedazzled," posted on her Twitter account asking advice for the tooth pain she was experiencing.
"What does it mean if you suddenly have violent toothache in about 10 teeth at the same time?" read her tweet on December 22.
The actress apparently got a variety of suggestions from fans to her account and later said that ibofrufen helped and that she was due for a trip to the dentist.
One of the causes for tooth pain could be gum disease, which is a condition that can occur if people do not adhere to proper dental care or regular dental checkups. If left untreated, gum disease can lead to other serious conditions including heart disease.
The American Dental Association recommends that people brush their teeth twice daily and floss to ensure they will be free of plaque build-up in their mouth.
