Approximately 22,000 children in North Carolina will have better access to oral care due to a state-wide joint effort between the North Carolina Head Start-State Collaboration Office and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. The new program that was recently launched is called the Head Start Dental Home Initiative (HSDHI).
