Chris O'Donnell joins child dental care initiative

Chris O In an effort to address the growing concern of oral disease in the U.S., Chris O'Donnell, a movie and television actor, has partnered with Trident Gum and the Oral Health America's Smile Across America program to support preventative services.

This initiative will focus on encouraging children across the country to maintain proper oral hygiene, and see a dentist on a regular basis. Also, the campaign will help parents prevent dental problems in their children by monitoring their diets and making sure they brush their teeth daily.

Available services through this program will benefit low-income families, individuals lacking dental insurance and those residing in underserved areas.

O'Donnell stated that “the Smiles Across America program helps to not only promote healthy habits, but also provides critical dental care services through schools reaching those kids that might not otherwise have access." He added that "I'm thrilled to be joining this effort to help celebrate and protect smiles."

Individuals and families with little or no dental insurance can also benefit from discount dental plans. These programs can help patients visit dentists on a regular basis and receive services that can prevent further oral complications.
