National dental organization offers web-based dental care locator

National dental organization offers web-based dental care locator The American Dental Association (ADA) has added a search engine to its website called Find A Dentist, which will help individuals find dentists and other oral care specialists in their regions. Those who take advantage of this opportunity are asked to submit their zip code, and a list of related treatment facilities will be provided.

This new feature emphasizes the importance of receiving proper dental treatments, which can help prevent various oral health complications. Dental specialists will also have the chance to provide patients with information about how to maintain proper dental care at home, including teeth brushing, flossing and rinsing with fluorides.

Sally Cram, a Washington, DC-based consumer advisor for ADA, stated that "good oral health is essential to good overall health, and that is why it is very important to see a dentist regularly." She added "if you are looking for a general dentist or an accredited dental specialist, the ADA's Find a Dentist includes features such as office hours, insurance accepted, languages spoken and photos of the dentists."
