Building your site with the proper structure and code is critical for SEO. Search engines want to provide searchers with the best possible user experience. Therefore, they penalize sites that have broken links and are difficult to navigate, for example. Here are a few tips on building an SEO friendly website:

• Create a site map & link to it from your homepage – This way, every page on your site will only be two pages / links away from the homepage – improving user experience and making your content accessible to SE bots that index your site.
• Build Deep Sites – The larger/deeper your site, the better its chance of ranking organically. It is highly recommended to build a deep site with a "Contact Us" page, "FAQ" page, "Privacy Policy" page, and "Terms and Conditions" page. Remember, having original content is vital for SEO, so build your site with as many original content pages as possible.
• Make sure there are no broken links on your site – Broken links will frustrate visitors and prompt SE's to penalize your site.
• Add keywords to URLs & meta tags – Create pages with original content targeting keywords like "dental care", and include these keywords in the URLs and page meta tags. But be careful not to overdo it! Keyword stuffing is penalized by the SE's, so use your discretion and make sure the keywords in your URLs and meta tags match the content on that page.
• Avoid Flash, Java, IFrames & splash pages – These options can negatively impact your SEO initiatives. Also, remember that any copy in an image such as a banner will not be indexed by the SE's.
