At DentalPlans.com, we go out of our way to safeguard our valued Affiliates, and we've developed our Content Standards as part of this ongoing effort. Use our Content Standards to ensure the accuracy of the information on your website(s), blogs, emails and other marketing materials. We thank you in advance for your understanding and prompt cooperation in this matter.

Our Affiliates are not allowed to display plan-specific information like plan names, logos, fee schedules, and provider listings because this information is updated continuously. By complying with our Content Standards, you ensure that the information you use to promote our discount dental plans is accurate and in compliance at all times.

Please check these Content Standards against your promotional materials, including but not limited to: Affiliate websites/ landing pages/blogs, Affiliate domains/URLs, web banners, print materials, organic search engine campaigns, pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, emails, and newsletters.

Affiliates are not permitted to use the logos and/or fee schedules of any of the plan networks (Aetna , Careington, etc.) on any materials. The only exception is print materials ordered through DentalPlans.com.

Affiliates using "dental insurance" or related keywords on their websites or other materials must clearly state that our discount dental plans are an alternative to dental insurance, and include this disclaimer: "Plans offered by DentalPlans.com are not dental insurance policies and the plans do not make payments directly to the providers of dental services."

The correct term for our product is "discount dental plan(s)." Please do not use "dental plan" without "discount" before it, and never refer to our discount dental plans as "dental insurance" or "dental benefits." To avoid being misleading when declaring potential savings, it is important to indicate that savings range from "10% to 60%" and are offered on "most dental procedures" or "most dental services." When referring to the total number of participating dental provider listings, please use "more than 100,000" or "100,000+", and use "participating provider listings " or "dentist and dental specialist listings" instead of "dentists." When referring to the length of time it takes to activate plans, please use "3 business days for most plans" or even "quick activation."

Each plan features specific discounts. Therefore, do not make general, sweeping statement such as "save on braces", "save on all dental procedures", or "save on every visit to the dentist". Please refrain from using insurance specific terms, including "deductible", "premiums", "coverage", etc.

Affiliates can not distribute press releases or articles that mention or link to DentalPlans.com without prior written consent. Please send all press releases and articles to SKolev@DentalPlans.com for approval.
